You can feel nature just 120 km from Toronto.
There are 2 cottages, 3 cabins, and wood waterfront sauna on 100 acres property with 25 acres private trout lake. It's very quiet location. The cottage is perfect for a family or group of 8 people plus children looking for relax. There are 3 bedrooms and an additional summer bedroom in the cottage.
We also offer 3 waterfront cabins for 4 people each cabin for an additional cost.
A lot of summer activities: fishing ,canoes, pontoon, kayak, jogging, darts, basketball ring, table tennis, chess (inc. In the price).
Also close to golf, horse farms and Grey Highland falls and caves.
Winter activities:
Blue Mountain ski resort is about 25 km from the cottage. Devils Glen country club is just 8 km from our place.
A short 7 km drive way to Dogsled Rob Roy. Highlands Nordic cross country skiing is just 8 km from this place.
You can enjoy wood waterfront sauna for an additional cost. It"s $120 for 4 hours (max 4 people). Extra cost for an additional people is $20 per person.
There are:
- large outdoor waterfront deck with propane BBQ;
- magnificent large living room with wooden fireplace;
- kitchen fully equipped with all appliances;
- fire pit;
- charcoal BBQ.

Summary: The most important thing is communicating with the owner is so easy. Group of 9 can easily sleep in bedrooms and there are also extra couch and futon. The cottage is very unique and cozy. It is water front. 30 min drive to blue mountain ski resort. Highly recommend for family with kids.

Summary: A big and nice house with a lot of space. We were disapppointed to find out that the owner doesn't provide sheets and towels, although we came outside of Canada, he couldn't help us, and we had to solve the problem alone.

Summary: We had a great time relaxing on the big covered deck, with view of the pond, lots of canoeing and kids enjoyed fishing, too hot that week to catch anything.

Summary: Our family stayed here to break up the monotony of the pandemic, and it was a great experience. For us, it was only 40 mins away, but offered a very private experience that easily accommodated our party of 6 adults, 3 children, and three dogs. Everyone had a great time canoeing the private lake, having camp fires, and just hanging out on the large porch. Oleg is very friendly and a great host. Very reasonably priced.

Summary: Oleg and Natalia's property is everything we wanted for our vacation after months of physical distancing and more. The property is near enough to Toronto to drive in one stretch. The cottage is clean and tidy and surrounded by natural beauty. We loved the pond which was perfect for swimming and leisurely paddling in the provided canoes. The wood-burning sauna was a tremendous hit with both the adults and the kids in our party. The kids loved the swimming and jumping into the lake off the dock, and the water was so calm and refreshing. We brought life jackets for the kids for water activities (adult life vest are provided) and access to the lake for swimming was the highlight of the trip for them. The guys who are avid runners loved running multiple laps around the lake (about 1.5 km loops) every morning, and the rest of us enjoyed leisurely walks taking in the beauty of path. Short drives away are some local hikes: Bruce Trail, Eugenia Falls, and Hoggs Falls. Hit the popular hiking trails early to avoid crowds in order to practice proper physical distancing. Restaurants in the surrounding towns are doing a great job with outdoor dining and physical distancing (Superburger and Champ Burger in Shelbourne, Steven's Restaurant in Markdale). We used the wood-burning grill or the gas grill to prepare delicious, simple meals, and the outdoor eating areas were perfect for gathering everyone together for meals. We also enjoyed the fire pit at sunset and watching the stars above almost every night. Our youngest son asked if we could stay there for a year, and all of us are already looking forward to finding a time for a return trip. Thank you for a spectacular time!

Summary: We stayed as we had an event nearby. I wish we had had more time to have a fire in the lovely fire pit. Natalia and Oleg were very responsive. There was also an adorable bonus kitten to say hello to! The kids enjoyed the play set. There was lots of space for them to run around. We would definitely stay again!
