Positive: The breakfast was very good. The house was amazing and the gardens beautiful. It was close to a small stony beach. The household miniature pet dogs were adorable. The hosts were very welcoming and interesting to talk to.

Negative: The view of the oil refinery across the bay but we knew about this when we booked. The house is built so you don’t look at the refinery only the bay towards Whangerei

Positive: A beautiful B&B with the most luscious outdoor jungle shower this south of the equator. Hearing kiwi all around you in the evening was something special. Beautiful bedroom and luxury amenities.

Negative: The hosts are lovely and friendly and keen to be entertained but as an introverted loner I would have preferred to be left to it.

Positive: The property is beautiful & in an amazing location, it has the feel of a 5* hotel. There is a beautiful clear water cove to swim in a 3 minute walk away from the house. The BBQ and outdoor dining space just perfect. The hosts are very welcoming & great at giving you tips of places to visit.

Negative: There was nothing to dislike.
