Peaceful Woods Retreat is a beautiful golf course home as well as lake front home. Bring your family and your boat and enjoy fishing and boating on Greenbriar Lake which is the largest lake in Holly Lake Ranch. Our home has 2 bedrooms with King size beds and a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room is a great place for families to enjoy time together. Off the living room there is a huge sunroom overlooking the golf course and the lake. There is a separate den that offers another room for TV watchers to enjoy. We have a huge deck on the back of the house for grilling and enjoying nature. Another added bonus is this large home is all one level. The large boat dock has a slip to store your boat while vacationing and a flagstone patio with fire pit for some lakeside relaxation. We also have a paddle boat for your enjoyment on the lake. Holly Lake Ranch is a premier gated community in the piney woods of East Texas. With all the amenities and natural beauty of the woods you are sure to have a relaxing and memorable getaway.
Please note that as of April 1, 2022 there will be a fee for guests to bring motored watercraft in to Holly Lake Ranch to use on the private lakes. The fee is $50 and is good for three days.

Summary: We loved the house. It was clean and we really liked having 2 king size beds. The deck looking at the golf course was great. The lake view is pretty too, but the trees do limit it some. We did see Bald Eagles fly over several times in this house! AMAZING! We used many things that HL has to offer, miniature golf, pickle ball, swimming pool (well hot tub), trails, and the owner provides 2 kayaks. We didn't put the paddle boat in the water, worried we might be hard to put it back on the dock:). We all said we need to go back for a week! We would pick this house first. Joe and Carolyn where awesome to work with. We had a small issue with the house and they both went above and beyond to make our stay AMAZING! We all liked Joe a lot and he is a great manager of this home. Pick this home he will make everything great. My grandkids called him Uncle Joe:) Our grandkids, loved the bunk bed room, and "their" TV room. We did play-dough outside on the deck and no bug spray or mosquitoes at all. We couldn't believe that! We loved the sun room and played cards, games, and enjoyed the view. We talked about doing a fire in one of the two fire pits but never seemed to find the time. Thank you for the smores, the grand kids ate them cold:)

Summary: House was very welcoming and fully stocked with kitchen amenities, towels, etc. Hosts were great and made sure we didn't have any questions or needs. Will definitely be back again!

Summary: We loved our time here. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. The house was stocked with everything we needed. We loved reading the experiences of past guests in the guest book. We loved the resort feel. The area is dark and quiet at night so we drove around the first night looking at the deer roaming around. The kids enjoyed being "spooked" by the dark quiet, but honestly we felt very safe. The kids enjoyed the lake and all of the amenities, especially the swimming pools. The staff and other neighbors are very nice and friendly. Joe and Carolyn were great hosts and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Highly recommend this rental!
