Nestled just outside Union, this quiet escape is perfect for a restful retreat amongst the splendor of the Pacific Northwest. Spend your days hiking, fishing, or just relaxing at home while enjoying the views. Grab one of the provided kayaks or stand-up paddleboard and paddle out from right in front of the property - head to the estuary where Hood Canal meets the Skokomish River just a few minutes away. Alderbrook Golf Course Resort & Spa is within three miles of your front door. The property's location also makes a great home base for day trips to Olympic National Park. A private hot tub offers rejuvenating soaks after the day's adventures.
The bright interior features stylish, mid-century throwback decor and comes fully furnished for contemporary comfort. Large windows showcase the views in the main living area, with plush armchairs and a leather sectional positioned to take advantage of the vistas. A separate den features a sofa and a smart TV for family movie nights. The well-appointed full kitchen comes equipped for home cooking - or enjoy the gas grill right outside.
The historic bonus cabin was built in the 1940s and is utterly unique in this area. It was featured on the cover of the 1977 Union telephone book, which you can find on display inside. The cabin makes the ideal hangout for round-the-clock leisure with a convenient wet bar area for happy hour drink and snack prep convenience. There's also a bulkhead beach area with a firepit and a small space for lawn games or sunbathing.
