You would be a few steps from the waterfront, a short walk from nature trails, and a bike ride or walk away from surrounding towns with restaurants, breweries, and museums. Kayaks and bikes are included with the house and when you are tired from your day of exploring, the house has the proper amenities for comfortable indoor living.

Open floor plan, living room/dining room/kitchen with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. Furnished with a dining table and sectional for relaxing and entertaining friends and family. There is no television, but there is high speed wireless internet as well as a state of the art Bose speaker system with plug in capabilities for your iPhone/iPad or other music player.
The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and proper cookware. There is a coffee machine with coffee and filters.

Summary: Great weather!Used the Kayaks at High Tide.Kayaks were awesome!Quiet beach,need water shoes during low tide as it is somewhat rocky.Could have used air conditioning in the Two bedrooms at the front of the house.The bikes and bike trail were great.We walked during the day and got to see the horses down the street.Went to Pier 41 for dinner in Fairhaven,quite good.Needs more steak knives.The owner was lovely to talk to.Had lots of fun.Even found an ice cream place that served oat milk ice cream in Fairhaven,can’t remember the entire name,Country something.

Summary: Views of marsh and bay kept us enthralled, between the bird life and changing light and skies. The location was convenient to lots of sightseeing opportunities in New Bedford. The house was well-equipped, and the art was outstanding. Owner and house manager were both wonderfully responsive to our questions. What a great experience!

Summary: My family enjoyed a very pleasant stay. The location is great for young children, nice big yard for them to play in. The bay is protected from strong winds making it especially nice for kayaking. Bird lovers will appreciate some excellent artwork. The small beach was just a short walk from the house and shared by only a few local residents.
