Fun, friendly family Bay front home. 3 bedroom 1.5 bath, waterfront bay home close to Palacios, TX on Turtle Bay, a small nursery bay which opens up into West Matagorda Bay. The home sleeps 8. Other amenities include 300 foot private pier including fishing light, and cleaning table. The pier transverses a small local reef we call Czech Point Reef which will increase your odds of successful fishing. The home has 2 upstairs bedrooms, living room, large functional kitchen and a downstairs bunk room which sleeps 4. There is also an outdoor shower. Satellite TV and stereo. Weber BBQ Pit is included for outdoor grilling. 2 refrigerators, one upstairs in the kitchen and one downstairs in the utility room. Washer & dryers are also available to renters. Beautiful spacious upstairs deck for afternoon cocktails or morning coffee to watch the amazing sunrises. Downstairs has a fantastic covered porch with plenty of room for enjoying the cool prevailing Southeast sea breeze. Plenty of room for games such as Horseshoes or washers. Mosquito's can be bad so please bring bug repellent although there are few citronella candles around for your use. The boat lift is not for rental use!

Summary: Really enjoyed this property. The location on Jensen Point is great - secluded and away from any crowds or traffic. If you have a boat, you're close to lots of great fishing opportunities and the local boat ramp is in excellent condition. Fishing and crabbing off the pier was also good. Everything was in good working order and the hosts were accommodating and easy to reach. We'll definitely be coming back.

Summary: Clean, with everything that we needed on site. Was the most memorable family vacay yet, the personal pier made all the difference-we could fish our hearts out n not have to load up n drive anywhere if we needed anything like the bathroom. Tons of outdoor seating I wasn’t sure that I’d even need a washer n dryer but it came in handy to be able to wash all that “bait” n fish smell off everything before returning home. We all truly loved this experience-thank you so much!

Summary: The location was perfect for our needs and outside decks and fishing pier we're excellent. The main negative was the downstairs bedroom did not cool enough for comfortable sleeping.

Summary: The view and fishing opertunities were great. The house is nice and kept well. It is way down on a peninsula with about 20 others houses, if you are looking for your own space with not many others around this is a great spot. The fishing light on the dock is probably the brightest one out of all the houses. Not ideal for swimming is the only draw back.

Summary: Great overall experience, house was equipped with a lot of little things that made cooking/showering/most things easier without a trip to the store. Great location, nice pier and decks, great host communication and helpfulness.

Summary: Beautiful bay house with a very nice pier with covered portion for fishing. Comfy beds with tons of lighting for night time entertainment. Really enjoyed the house would definitely stay again

Summary: Wind was horrible, but caught a few keepers. The green light would not come on even after following the manual instructions, but had a great time with the grandkids! We will plan for future stays!

Summary: The place is nice, the sea view from the patio is peaceful and relaxing! The place has everything you need for your stay. We tried fishing but we only got 4 fish, we weren't lucky or maybe we did not have the right bait 😊

Summary: We had a great weekend at this rental. The kids loved fishing off the pier, didn't catch a lot of keepers but still entertained the kids. The patio areas were perfect for family meals. The kids had a lot of room to play in the yard.
