Enjoy a relaxing, beach vacation at our family's quaint Connecticut cottage. Our front porch overlooks the beautifully maintained white sand beach of Old Lyme Shores, a private, gated community that is family friendly.
Our house has 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a changing room with shower, a large dining room and a full kitchen. The spacious living room has French doors that open to the front porch and the spectacular views of the beach! A side porch off the kitchen gets the morning sun and is a perfect breakfast nook.
The house also sits on a double wide lot allowing for plenty of lawn for family play.
The views, the sound of the waves, the serenity of the front porch will relax and revive your spirit. It is a place to build memories and simply relax.

Summary: Loved, loved, loved the location! No packing up the car to go to the beach, just roll out of bed and step out the door. Perfect for us with 2 toddlers. Very cozy beach cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed it very much.

Summary: Classic New England right on the beach. I can't over-emphasize how much more enjoyable being right on the beach is, especially traveling with children and grandparents. Hosts were super-responsive, kitchen well-stocked and plenty of beach stuff in the garage. Large side yard (also right on the beach) was very helpful. Great little private community. Order the donuts on the weekends in the summer.

Summary: What a wonderful week we had! The weather was mostly good, the water/beach was great and the PORCH! We had all of our meals out there, coffee in the morning, games at night. It’s a GREAT porch! We loved the house. Kathy our host was so easy to communicate with, we had NO Problems! We’d love to go back, THANKS!

Summary: This property was just what my family needed to wrap up the summer. The house had a beautiful rustic feel to it. That porch was lovely to sit out on at any time of the day. There was ample space in and outside of the house. The bedrooms did get a little hot without AC, but it did not bother us. Kathy was great to work with as well--very helpful and quick to respond. Overall, a great gem...can't wait to return next summer!

Summary: My husband & I, & our college-age twins, absolutely loved our week at this house. The highlight, of course, was being on the front screened porch, where we hung out & ate all our meals. The living room, too, was very comfortable & we loved having the folding French doors open to the porch. We had great weather, but the only drawback would be during a heatwave b/c there is no air conditioning. We hope to go back again next summer!
