The house is just 2.5 north of Mullet Lake, Indian River and Burt lake, and just 4 miles south of Duncan Bay and Lake Huron! The house is set privately at the end of a road. From Arcade, card and pool tables inside, to water access, grills, kayaks, paddle boards and a dock to fish or anchor your boat outside, you can have a paradise get away and plenty to do with out even leaving! We have cleared most of the weeds and over growth by the water as well as added a beach with an expansion to the shallow swimming area.

Summary: Very nice views, lots of TVs, very hot afternoons on deck and in kitchen (no air) No shade on west side of house to avoid the hot sun. Kitchen well stocked, lots of seating. Nice quiet location at end of road. Lots of games in game room. West windows main floor no shades to block hot sun.

Summary: We enjoyed our time as a family on property. Luckily the back door doesn’t lock so we were able to get in, as we didn’t receive check in code. If house had another bathroom we’d give it five stars.

Summary: Four families came together at this nicely appointed vacation home. Just a 30-minute drive to Mackinac Island, it was the perfect spot to gather with friends. Everyone agreed there was plenty to do in the house and on the water thanks to the game room, pool table, gathering spaces, and kayaks on site. Everything you need was available (dishes, pots, pans, coffee makers) and easy to find. The owners thought of everything when it came to stocking the house. However, the grill may need an update as it took a considerably long time to grill our food, as did the oven. Other than that, there were absolutely no issues with the house. I would certainly return, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-stocked, spacious, clean home to rent. Note on star-ratings: I gave the check-in process a 3-star rating because there were technical issues with the email/communication before check-in. 4-stars for location because the neighborhood was okay. This was by far the nicest home on the street (though the view opposite the lake were very nice. Also, a dog came by to greet our teens, and hung out for a while. When the teens went to find its owner, they were met with a grumpy neighbor who was annoyed that the dog had stayed out so long and blamed the teens for being "too fun" and asked that they not play with him in the future (nope, not thankful at all). Communication was 4-star because there was a lag between text messages and calls, but it all got sorted out quickly.

Summary: We didn’t have the best weather, but the house was great and had lots to do! The games in the garage came in very handy along with the pool table and Ms Pac-Man machine. Would definitely stay here again!
