Positive: Waterside Retreat is a lovely lodge set within the golf course grounds. The lodge is a lovely comfortable space and has everything you need for a holiday. Sitting on the terrace and listening to the water fountain is very peaceful, we could not fault it. Great breakfast at Spikes Bar, and a nice little terrace to sit out with the dog, although they do allow dogs in Spikes Bar too, so that's brilliant. Everyone is very friendly and even Jean - the host - popped by on our first night to check everything was good.

Negative: Couldn't fault it other than the solar lights on the decking didn't work, it would've just added to the ambience.

Negative: Do not follow satnav directions, so access and nearby convenience a slight issue.
