Positive: Location was perfect and it was nice and quiet to come back to. The house was perfect size for me and my son. Kitchen is well kitted out for cooking and baking to. Jo was lovely and very welcoming.

Positive: The cottage was cosy and warm, the shower was hot and a good flow. close to all the amenities of the village. easy access into the cottage via a key box and code.
Negative: The fridge does not have a freezer compartment which is a problem when you are staying for 4+ days. it does not have a clothes horse to put your wet clothes on after washing. Parking was an issue having to park one block away due to other cars around.
Summary: warm and cosy for a few nights stay.

Positive: everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fabulous village location with all you might need within the village, local shop,pub,coffee shop etc. Surrounded by wonderful places to visit of historical interest and beautiful scenic walks.

Positive: The cottage is in a lovely quiet village and central for lots of attractions. It had a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds and pillows. Jo the owner was friendly and helpful.
Negative: It didn’t bother us but there is nowhere to eat out in the village. There is a nice pub where the staff and locals are very welcoming though.
Summary: Would book again.

Positive: The property owner left milk tea, coffee and biscuits for us and even a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed in the little courtyard at the back. The neighbours were friendly and although the village was quiet there was a local pub and it wasn't far to shops and restaraunts in the next village. The owner let us know she lived in the village and said we could ring if there was anything we needed. The property was very pleasant and clean and had all the home amenities we could need. There were 2 local castles to visit and lovely local walks.
Summary: We had a wonderful week away and we're never short of things to do. There was loads of tourist info
