Positive: It's a guest house. 5 double rooms. There are 2 separate toilets/WC/showers that you have to share, but for us it really worked perfectly. It's all very clean and daily clean. The house is on the ground floor and with 35 degrees outside and only windows open and a ceiling fan that you can control with remote control, together with controlled light, the house and the room always felt fresh, never hot... there is a modern wash machine with a quick cycle and an hanger outside your room's window... Clothes washed and dry within 2 hours... The kitchen has everything you'll need to cook and eat...minimarkets, fruits and veg stalls, an Auchan minimarket, fresh seafood shop, pharmacies, bars with coffees and sweet or salty breakfast specialties...local bakery, with restaurants and the beach, which extends for almost 20 km are all within 5-8 Min walking... Incredible spot, very quiet day and night...only the trash truck doing their job around midnight, but I'm a hot town it must be done late and it's only 2 min...and then it's again silent. there is no TV, which I actually appreciated.more time to rest, more time to enjoy exploring around the next morning. So you can walk all those kilometres of coast and check for your best spot, or do some research, pick one of the dozens of PRAIA (beach), which mostly have bars, and local restaurants, with ocean view and call a Bolt(Portugal Uber). with 7-10 Euro it'll drive you 15-20 km down coast (we loved Fonte do Tehla and the most comfortable pillowed seating bench where we enjoyed amazing food and drinks with a beautiful ocean view @ Piscine beach bar... Amazing! Downside(not for us) It's a room (ah! I forgot you have your room fridge with a mini freezer, top!), a room in a shared house, very comfortable and very clean. we are nice people and we enjoyed it a lot. and we met other nice people, our neighbours next door. we had a couple of chats in the kitchen. that's how it goes...
