Positive: Historic gold rush themed guesthouse and room with a comfortable bed. Not a cookie cutter hotel room and interesting place to stay for a night.
Negative: If you have mobility issues, the second floor is probably not the place for you as it is up a flight of stairs with no lift. Our room was a bit cramped. (#4). There is no staff on site and entrance is controlled by a phone app.
Summary: Unique gold rush themed room in a period hotel fun for a night on the road.

Positive: Location and spaciousness of room. Slept well in the comfortable bed.
Negative: Bathroom is awkward with door opening in to sink, and toilet should be updated to low water use tank. The old-style toilet runs for several minutes after flushing to refill the tank.
Summary: Interesting old building with comfortable beds, but in need of a few updates.
