Charming Island Cottage built in 1905, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, and living room. The cottage also has a Wood Stove, Laundry, Screened-In Porch. A Fire Pit and Gas Grill are located in the backyard. It is within walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and attractions. All three bedrooms have one Queen size bed.
*Also, please note that the daily rate is based on 4 guests. There is an additional $25.00/person charge up to the maximum of 6 guests. This property is pet friendly and limited to two dogs.

Summary: The place was great. Everything you could of wanted.The shower was little tricky to figure out.Beds where comfortably nice yard for dogs to run in. All around nice. Thank you

Summary: Very rustic dark cabin. Clean enough. Wi-Fi didn’t work, called and never got a response from the owner/host that lived next door. We lovingly called the decor garage sale chic. Way too much furniture in the living room and porch. Rey much enjoyed staying on the island and would again, maybe at a different place. This could be very nice if the organ and sewing machine and other non essentials were removed and nicer furniture put in.

Summary: We had a great 3 nights at the Weisel Cabin. Everyone loved the historic charm and the inviting front porch. Our adult son enjoyed playing DJ with the extensive record collection. The location was great! Just a short walk to town and a quick drive to Big Bay. We'll be back!

Summary: I loved the location and the communication with the manager was excellent the cottage was very spacious but very very old the biggest problem was the lack of AC as it was extremely hot weather and even with all the fans it was a hot house . I think it would be excellent during cooler weather .the kitchen did not seem inviting to cook in because the lower cabinets really need to be replaced and better pots and pans made available the biggest

Summary: Our family of five adults and one dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Wiesel cabin! Nostalgic for sure and very cozy! The property is very well stocked with everything needed and then some. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere.

Summary: We have a long family line and history on Madeline Island. I have always wanted to visit, and was finally able to. Staying at the cabin was perfect. The cabin was cute, and clean, and the location was amazing. We will definitely stay there again.
