Scenic place in the hill country, just minutes from historic Gruene, Texas, A 3/3 country home surrounded by huge native oak trees on one acre in the Texas Hill County, just outside the New Braunfels City limits. This charming rustic home offers a large living room with white stone fireplace. Open kitchen with granite counter tops and bar overlooking the living area. Large dining table seats up to 8 people. The home offers three bedrooms, 2 with attached baths. The master bedroom provides an oversized king bed, with attached bathroom with large bathtub, separate shower, toilet and his and her sinks. The second bedroom providers a queen bed with access to an attached bathroom with shower and toilet. The third bedroom offers a double bed in addition to a twin bed too and adjacent bathroom across the hall with shower/tub. The exterior of the home offers an outdoor bar, stone fire pit & exterior fireplace with plenty of seating and room to enjoy nature on this one-acre property. The best part of the property is the multiple century old oak trees in front yard which provide plenty of shade for playing outdoors in the Texas summer heat. But it's a close call to the view of the Texas Sunset from the large covered outdoor back patio as you watch the windmill turn located on the west side of the property.
Home is located just outside of Gruene Hall, with quick access to tubing on the Comal or Guadalupe River, Shopping at the Premium Outlets in San Marcos, boating in Canyon Lake or quick access to the Texas State University campus.

Summary: We rented this house with our friends to visit with our college kids for family weekend at TXST. It was a great location to get where we needed to go. The house was better than the pictures, and we loved it. Will definitely stay again.

Summary: Place was great, felt like I walked into my own home. Clean but lived in so I could relax. The outdoor space made for amazing dinner picnics and the location made for an easy trip to the water park each morning and out of the way enough that it felt secluded! The farm fresh eggs and massive strudel were a nice touch.
