Summary: Mary Ann was an exceptional host. Quick with her resoponse and paid attention to every little detail. The Property itself was very clean and well maintained. The lawn was immaculate and deck overlooking the water was picture perfect. We appreciated the proximity to the town. Everything was walkable distance. Grocery stores, shoppers, restaurants etc were all withing 10 minutes walking distance. This was particularly helpful since we were traveling with kids. We will definitely be coming here again in the future.

Summary: Host was great and very accommodating. Neighbors we friendly and helpful with letting us know about the different firework displays going on, on the river. Kids loved being able to jump off the dock just be careful if kids aren’t used to the river current. Fishing was fun and became a challenge since we could see them jumping out of the water in front of us but no luck catching :) The house didn’t disappoint, It was a good find and Mary was wonderful. I will say if you are not familiar with Canadian grocery stores you will get frustrated with the currency exchange and they don’t have everything we have in the states.

Summary: Our 2 families stayed at this beautiful home on the river during the Canada Day long weekend. The home was clean, organized and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable trip. The host was lovely and provided us with a welcome book with information on the home and surrounding area. The river was breathtaking with views of it from most parts of the home. The water was clear. We saw tons of fish swimming in the early morning but were also able to enjoy swimming off the dock throughout the day. There were bikes, kayaks and a fire pit. The Main Street of this small, quiet town is walking distance. We had a Tim Horton’s, a grocery store, restaurants, an ice cream shop all within walking distance. We had bbq’s, bonfires at night, took in the local Canada Day events, and visited the Cantarra Beach just 15 minutes drive away. Sunday when it rained, we drove 20 minutes away and crossed into Michegan for some shopping at the mall. Don’t worry if it rains, the home has a huge lovely enclosed porch with lots of windows for a view of the river. Also the host provided lots of board games, books and there are 2 televisions (one in the primary bedroom and one in the living room). We were so thankful to take a much needed family vacation and look forward to returning again soon!
