Positive: Dated property but superb location just opposite the beach at great value- lots of good size rooms.Friendly welcoming phone call from Velta the owner and greeted on arrival by Alicia the housekeeper as it was a changeover day. Ronald the property manager came a few days later to check all ok and to see if we needed an orientation tour. Air con in all rooms. All the kitchen utensils you could require. Plenty of beach towels and beach chairs.
Negative: No cupboard space to store our food- we emptied a cupboard of tupperware tubs to create space.small kettle barbecue

Positive: Beautifully furnished with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Housekeeper and manager were very accommodating and friendly. Bus stops very close. Beach bars serving food and drink into the evening opposite the house.
Negative: Dishwasher didn’t work - a draining issue, but not a problem for us.
Summary: Beautiful home opposite Thunder Bay beach. Highly recommend this house.

Positive: We loved this house from the moment we arrived. Absolutely spotless, a few meters, yes meters from the (Thunder Bay/ Reeds Bay) beach! We were greeted by the concierge, Mr Bullen and shown around before being left to enjoy our holiday. I cannot recommend this property enough. It was perfect.! It could easily accommodate 8 plus people so we felt rather spoiled with it just being the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped as were the bathroom and two ensuites which all have hairdryers too. Air con throughout. Computer should you need it. Beds are super comfy. The whole house feels homely as it is beautifully decorated throughout and the lovely Alecia would come in twice a week and clean and change beds. It is in a prime spot and so peaceful, Right outside the electric gates to the driveway ( apart from the beach) there is the bus stop which is super handy if you decide not to drive. ( the local yellow bus is a must, but you can also get the regular bus which is a bit more like our own single deckers at home. There is a small bar on the beach as well as the lovely Simone who has her own 'on the beach cafe' where she produces the most amazing home cooked meals plus drinks and snacks, so there is no need to leave the beach. She also supplies the beds and umbrellas at a very very reasonable price. If you like you can ask her to cook you a meal to take up to the house if you decide to stay home of an evening, she also made us beautiful sandwiches for our return trip to the airport. It was an absolute joy staying here. We hope to come back soon. I read reviews before I rent a property so I hope this has helped you to make your decision about booking Graceville The communication from Velta the owner is brilliant, she called us before and on our arrival to make sure everything was ok and again the day we left to say goodbye, she is the perfect host. I promise you, you will not regret it This place is Heaven on Earth!!xxx
