Relax and unwind here in Craftsbury! From our lovely home in this beautiful little hamlet, step out the door to outstanding biking, hiking, and cross country skiing. With outstanding craft beer, spirits, cheese and local food all a stone's throw away, this home is the perfect getaway for families or groups visiting the area for events, exploration or a relaxing getaway.
Our home has 2 lovely queen bedrooms downstairs, a double bed in and upstairs loft and two twin beds in the opposite loft. The living area is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and complete with gas stove, double oven, and dishwasher and the dining table seats 10-12. A gas fireplace in the living room adds cozy ambiance. A fenced yard w/ patio, fire-pit and gas/charcoal grill offers privacy and an additional space to relax and unwind. Wifi, Antenna and a 40" Roku TV screen allow for watching shows and streaming Netflix etc. This well-equipped, comfortable home is perfect for families or groups visiting our beautiful region.
We are available if you need us! Need restaurant or hiking or biking or advice? Happy to help. Best running/skiing routes? The running is outstanding and we can point you in the direction of a great short or long run (or ski). We are a pretty low key and easy going family and we want you to enjoy your stay.

We like dogs and animals. We'd consider hosting your pet if it is well trained, you are able to limit barking, your pet stays off furniture, and isn't a shedding type.

Summary: We stayed at this property for 3 nights for a local family wedding and had a great experience. Description and pictures were very accurate and this may be the cleanest VRBO we’ve ever rented. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend!

Summary: Stayed here over the New Year and enjoyed it very much! The house was exactly as described, very clean and warm. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space for adults and kids!

Summary: We had a great stay for our Sterling Graduation celebration. Everyone was comfortable & happy to be there - had everything we needed. Close to campus and events. Our host was just great - accommodated our early check-in request which was so helpful. Definitely recommend !

Summary: My husband and I just returned from a week at Cate Hill Cottage, it was outstanding! Amy is an exceptional hostess, with great dining and ski route suggestions! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful vacation! My ski pole broke, and she immediately loaned me a choice of two sets of poles! The local chefs she recommended were amazing, one even delivered dinner to our door! The cottage is charming and had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is so much space to relax and even work! My husband used the excellent wifi to do a little work between ski outings. The couch is so comfortable for reading a book. The mattress is extremely comfortable, I loved the pillow top. The location between Craftsbury Outdoor Center and the Highland Lodge trail system is perfect. It is also possible to ski from the door, if you don’t mind a little bushwhacking! Amy explained exactly where to go, so it’s not difficult to ski to the trail. We will return next year, and I am already counting the days! Thank you Amy for a great vacation!

Summary: We would not stay at this property again. The second bathroom upstairs was not practical at all, unless you are 3' tall! You could not stand up and use the sink to brush your teeth or wash up. It did not have a shower only a bathtub, which again, you would not be able to stand up in it. The toilet was sooooo low, it felt like you were almost on the ground, in both bathrooms. The tub/shower in the downstairs bathroom was just a little bit better because you could shower, but if you weren't real careful with the curtain it could get the floor all wet. There was an old soap left, the bottom of the tub looked not very clean. There was NO counter space or anywhere to put toiletries, not enough hooks. The table and chairs were a mix and match, the fireplace was nice but the tv was upstairs and would have been much better to be downstairs. The 2 bedrooms were fine but not sure how 10 people could stay here! The grass should have been cut, in other words there was not much effort put into the VRBO to make it very welcoming.

Summary: This property was located centrally to areas we decided to visit. The countryside in the NEK is some of the prettiest in VT. The foliage was peak and then gone during our week there. House was very comfortable and our hostess made sure we were able to enjoy our stay.

Summary: Stayed here on a September weekend for a wedding nearby. The place was cute / clean and amazingly comfortable. Had a great wide open common area and comfortable clean beds. Will stay here again the next time I'm nearby.

Summary: Our stay was most pleasant. All parts of a family gathering were in place. We had all we needed for ingredients including 16 inches of fresh snow to ski in, and, lots of terrain to enjoy! Happy times and a wonderful weekend!
