Positive: This really is a great spot. We had a family room and though relatively simple was bigger than expected comfortable and great for a few days. The property is outstanding. Tucked away so beautifully quite. A great contrast to the main town of La Fortuna. Makes a mild challenge for eating out but the staffs recommendations were great. The trails are where this place really shines. Outstanding rainforest. Dense, no one else around. Paths the right level of challenge without being too much.

Positive: Incredible stay in nature. Owners were flexible with accommodating a change to our booking for free that should otherwise be paid for. Private water falls and hiking trails with views of the arenal volcano? Amazing. Jimmy was very kind and friendly throughout our stay, providing excellent service.
Negative: - no dinners available on site (considering the remote location this is very useful to have, as nearby Lost Iguana were reluctant to cater to vegans the alternative is pretty much a 20 minute drive or cook in your accommodation) - Still a project in the making, we couldn't find a few of the spots on the map of the Wellness Park and were told when asked these are yet to be constructed. Don't let any of these points hold you back. We had an amazing stay!

Positive: The property is away from La Fortuna which is great if you like peace and quiet and don't mind a drive to town. The surrounding area is beautiful and we saw many great birds including Tucans in the area and also enjoyed a morning hike in the jungle.
Negative: This place is not as advertised -- neither the rooms, or the grounds. It's a dormitory/hostel/motel for youth with short hiking trails on the property advertised as a "wellness park." The map you see in the photos is a misrepresentation of reality. Johnny did not have our reservation [made well in advance] when we arrived at night after a 13-hour day of travel. They had no vacancy and no urgency to help us find somewhere to stay for the night and didn't apologise or care about their error whatsoever. We had to ask for his help to please call the nearby hotel to see if they had anything. They had one night available at three times the cost, but we had no other choice. We came back the next day and the room was not at all as described or shown on this website. What is advertised as a one bedroom house is a motel-like studio with one big room, no sink in the bathroom, but instead it's a part of the kitchenette, and shared walls with the other dorms. The room had dilapidated curtains hanging over just half of the windows, leaving complete exposure to look in the room, the bathrooms were not as shown in the photo either. The studio is furnished with patio table and chairs not wooden furniture as shown in the photos. Also, there was no coffee in the room. Completely bare bones studio motel. We left the next day.

Positive: It was very cosy and a nice retreat. You wake up in a park with hummingbirds in front of your door and a great view of the volcano. Then you can hike the Park trails (ca.3h) and experience a hidden jungle, waterfall with a lot of fauna. Also there is a cool viewpoint where you can get a photo of the volcano and the jungle.
