Summary: Extraordinary service, excellent spa and pool and very clean. Food was good but not fantastic. Surrounding countryside was quite disappointing and dirty.

Summary: Nice room with surprise second floor snug. Location was remote, more than expected, with roads/streets not pedestrian friendly. Gym very well equipped, but cannot see why not open earlier or later than 7:30am to 7:30pm. A/C turned off overnight and so too hot in the morning. Restaurant limited in choice of foods, but free shuttle to Oritigia is good. Needed to eat out on most nights and not always preferable. Appeared to be staff limited, with people not available at pool bar or Gym/Spa at all times. Check out was just transactional.

Summary: Nice looking and well kept place. Room was nice although a bit disconnected with two floors. The staff was very nice. Great to have the possibility to rent bikes at is quite remote. The facilities were frankly dissapointing for being one of the most well regarded hotels around the area. Sterile outdoor area and a lot of empty space which made the experience somewhat uncanny. We booked with spa entrance which we regret, the outdoor pool would have been sufficient. The saunas are either chilly or very dry, so the sauna experience was not up to the expectations. The cold bath was a small tube where immersing your head was not possible. Fine except for the fact that it was in the main room with bubble pool and connections between each facility as tjhe compressor was running continuously making the whole area noisy. Not very relaxing. Although a very nice place, it was not worth the price.

Summary: We are a family of four and had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel and all the staff were so lovely and friendly to us. A special mention to David who was our server at breakfast time, he was great fun and so friendly to us. The 2 pools were fabulous and well maintained and all rooms and areas in the hotel are beautiful. The spa is out of this world!! The breakfast was also great with a fabulous selection. In general the hotel and grounds are beautiful. However, some minor things that prevented me from giving it 5 stars were; the general upkeep of the building, as the roof and railings are getting dated and could do with being cleaned and/or painted to freshen up the building. We arrived 15 minutes before check-in time so appreciated we would have to maybe wait for our rooms, however we ended up having to wait over an hour, which wasn’t ideal. The location around the hotel is not great, it is a bit run down and no facilities. However, we had a cat so this wasn’t a big issue but something to bear in mind. The biggest issue for us was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms.. in Sicily.. in summer.. we were here for 4 nights and I don’t think slept one of them!

Summary: A very relaxing honeymoon stay, everyone working at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. I loved the pool and the music being played by it and the largw lounging beds around the pool. Our hot tub was wonderful and the cleaners did a great job. Theres also a free shuttle into Oritigia.
