Positive: Good location, close to the subway, nice host, clean, everything we needed was there.
Negative: I didn't realize that it was a room in the host's apartment - my mistake, I overlooked that information. Even though I was surprised by it, our stay was very nice. I'm a pretty laid-back person, and we were staying there only for the night anyway, it was less atmospheric than what I'd hoped for. The host is a lovely person, though - he offered us coffee, chatted, and joked with us a bit. Overall a very nice place, just be aware of the arrangements.

Positive: The room was just as I was expecting from the pictures, even better. The host was very friendly and hospitable, he offered coffee every morning but since I was scheduled for conferences and meetings I could not sit down for that. Overall, it is well connected and in a decent part of the city.
Negative: Nothing really stood out, perhaps some loud conversations outside during the first night but that is not really in the control of the host.

Positive: Very comfy bed, if, due to the setup a bit more difficult to climb into. No problem. Kitchen with tea: perfect. The bed itself was comfy, and the room very quiet. Great communications from the owner. I chose this location because I wanted to be somewhere in Berlin where I could run without too many busy roads and traffic lights before an appointment in a muscle clinic the next morning. Not the owner's fault: public transport went on strike and I somehow had to get to the next S-Bahn quite far away (rental scooter), and at my destination walk another distance. I got my workout right there :D Only minor niggle, and I admit it's very individual: I found the duvet a bit too thin and light. Used the blanket on the other bed on top.
