Positive: Nice quiet location near the best kitesurfing beach/spot. Friendly owner and his family. Air-con was working good. Free drinking water to refill. And also what we loved very much - shared kitchen to use.

Negative: Smelly room and mattress/sheets, but thats after rain season, so mold gets almost everywhere. Some time outside in the sun and some incense sticks helped a lot.

Summary: Awesome place to stay.

Positive: The owners provide free drinking water. They also prepare dinner on request. They are so friendly and the food is great. Location is very close to the diving club en kite surfing spot. Highly recommend. Our diving course was cancelled so we had to shorten our stay, but the owner was very understanding and supportive.

Negative: High humidity inside the rooms, but airconditioning is available to resolve this.

Summary: Ideal stay for divers and kite surfers

Positive: Very clean, friendly staff.. I checked in very late and they stayed and helped me. Very nice location and the walk behind the property was awesome and the sun raise view through the mangrove was beautiful sight . They made nice food and all are like home cooked. This stay is 5mins walk from Kalpitiya’s best scuba diving Center.

Negative: I don’t have anything to complain of.

Summary: I will come back again and will be my first choice in Kalpitiya.
