Positive: We liked being close to the canal, and the house was clean and comfortable. The fish and chip shop was good, and there seems to be a newish cafe opposite.
Negative: There was only just enough cutlery and crockery, and very little in the way of serving dishes, wooden spoons etc. It could be much nicer with a bit more attention to the outside space and a bit more interior decoration to soften it.

Positive: That it was a house not an hotel room for the money paid. The host was friendly when we had to phone to get directions to find the house as not easy. The decor in the lounge and bedroom was nicely done.
Negative: The bedding did not smell fresh and could have been better. It was surface clean, but around the skirting boards there was dust, the air fresheners (always suspicious of these) made us sneeze whilst staying. There was no lighting at the front to get the keys out of the key, therefore, box-you could not see the numbers. It was difficult to find and although you could park on the street the parking did not make it easy to carry your things in.
Summary: Acceptable for the money paid.
