Positive: The one bedroom apartment had large windows facing the water and classy blinds when we wanted the room dark. It had multiple decorative touches, almost everywhere one looked, which were tasteful and interesting. The king size bed had a gorgeous wooden bed frame.
Negative: Although there were plenty of lights and kitchen appliances, a number of them just didn't work, starting with the gas fireplace. The only seating for the TV was a sofa perpendicular to the TV, which literally gave me a stiff neck.
Summary: The property was very nice (building and location), and worth the price.

Positive: My husband & I spent 3 nights in mid-January and enjoyed our stay. The access to the beach was fantastic - can walk south along the shoreline for at least a couple miles depending on the tide (highly recommend checking tide chart before planning your beach walks). The bed was very comfortable & overall the place had nice amenities.
Negative: I thought it was strange that only half the lighting had warm LED lightbulbs. Cold LEDs are incredibly uninviting and something I would only expect one-star motels to use. It was a poor way to cheap out on lighting for an otherwise nicely decorated place. It was a bummer the indoor fireplace is non-functional although I knew that beforehand when I asked the property manager about - just calling it out so others know in advance as well. The outdoor firepit was nice to have in the evenings, but it's extremely temperamental and difficult to set the knob so it stays on consistently. Also, in the kitchen, most utensils & cookware were just fine or even better than expected, but the toaster is broken (only one burner works and anything put in it for more than 20 seconds will burn!) And there wasn't a functioning ice machine so be sure to bring your own supply. Lastly, we couldn't find a cutting board anywhere.

Positive: Whitney Island is a beautiful place to explore, but we were so comfortable in this lovely retreat that we hung out there all day. We even brought dinner back there to enjoy with the ever changing view. The beach was in easy reach and the apartment was so clean and well equipped.
Negative: We were missing a pillow for the second bed and although the ice maker kept trying, we never saw ice. Minor inconveniences compared to what we got.

Positive: Everything was Excellent! View, fantastic location and designed house (any details, blankets, pictures or even dishes) make us happy in this small vacation).
Negative: the sound of the heating turning on - like at the airport, we woke up every time from such a sharp sound.
