Welcome to the West Hills Getaway! Great for families or large groups of people, this property has an open floor plan with 9-foot ceilings, hand scraped Acacia wood floors, a gas fireplace and territorial view. The kitchen has plenty of amenities and features a large island, maple cabinets, granite counters, and black stainless-steel appliances. The primary suite has a tray ceiling, large walk-in closet, double sinks, and a six-foot soaking tub.
Note: Please be aware that this property features a fairly steep driveway and staircase leading up to the main level of the home, which may pose a challenge for individuals with mobility issues or those who have difficulty climbing stairs. We encourage all potential guests to carefully consider their personal needs and abilities before booking.
Once you enter the property, we ask that all shoes be removed to keep the carpeted spaces clean.
You will have access to the entire property, with the exception of the garage and two locked closet areas (used for cleaning supplies).

Please limit the amount of cars you bring to the property. The driveway can fit 2 cars, and there is usually room for a 3rd car to be parked on the side of the street in front of the home, if needed. Please do not park in a manner that blocks the mailboxes at any time. We ask that you do not bring an RV as the street is narrow and we have to be considerate of our neighbors' needs and abilities in navigating in and out of the narrow street. This is a non-smoking home. If you are going to smoke cigarettes, please do it in the backyard where there is a provided ash tray. Smoking marijuana is prohibited as we are located in a family-oriented neighborhood with children. Recreational marijuana cannot be smoked in public (on or off the property). Neighbors keep a watch out to ensure the area remains a nice neighborhood. Excessive noise, parties and/or smoking marijuana is not allowed and is strictly enforced. House rules apply to each guest and each individual the guests invite into/onto the property. Please keep this in mind when considering to book.
One of the four bedrooms is located on the lower level. Everything else (including both bathrooms) is located on the main/upstairs level.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable. The decor is pleasing. Everything went smoothly. My only comments is the table seats 6. With four bedrooms, most are traveling with eight or more. The bedroom downstairs was a bit disconnected from the main house in location and access to the bathroom.

Summary: Great neighborhood, & super comfortable home! Beware the driveway is STEEP as are the stairs on the house- all the living area and bathroom is all upstairs. Fine for a younger group but the stairs would be an issue for a party with older people! Pictures don’t quite do justice for the steepness of the driveway/stairs :) I would stay here again and recommend 100% — we were just surprised as it’s built into a hillside :)

Summary: My family stayed on this property for the weekend during my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday celebration. The property and home accommodated us very graciously and the host was very available when we reached out. As a sidenote, I would appreciate it if all fees were wrapped up in the actual price quoted.

Summary: Two families shared this very nice home with 4 bedrooms. The kitchen was huge and having a counter with seating and a table made it nice with teenagers. The kitchen was almost well stocked even with a hot pot but was missing a few cooking essentials, like a peeler, serving bowls. Coffee service with only 4 pods for 2 days and four adults was a bit sparse but there was also ground coffee. It would have been nice for our adults to have had wine glasses and a wine opener on hand. The sheets were wonderful (I need the brand!); the pillows however do go flat. If it had been warm, we would have certainly used the inviting, well appointed, patio. The downstairs (and I mean down. When they warn you about the stairs they mean it. At 81 I had no problem tackling two very long stair cases, but it was not easy bringing in a cooler with our food. Perhaps a path way around the house to the back where it could have been rolled, would be in the future plans for the house?). The lower bedroom is as warned, cold, and you have to climb those stairs to access a bathroom. The online guide to the house was a very nice touch with loads of useful information. And, a printed copy too, helped. The welcome basket was a nice touch but with OR great water, we don't need the plastic water bottles (but we certainly likes the rest of the items, a lot!). Check out was super easy and appreciated. Thanks
