Positive: This is one of the most unique places I've ever stayed. Carlos is an amazing artist; the house is full of his vibrant and intriguing paintings and sculptures. He was happy to talk to me about art & life over tea with a kitten in his lap. In addition to its artistic vibe, the space has nice amenities like a very comfortable bed and towel warmers in the bathroom. I will be coming back the next time I am in Portugal.

Negative: I waa surprised for not having shampoo and body wash in the bath! this is basic for people traveling on fights. For this cost, a fresh breakfast could be served. It states a B&B in the title, but in fact - no fresh products for breakfast.

Positive: I loved the historical beauty of the property and the artwork by the host decorated throughout as well as the serene and charming patio and garden in the back. Most of all I loved Carlos our host. He was delightful and helpful and kind, and full of knowledge and suggestions to help us find what we needed out and about each day. He even drew us maps at times! Then it was also wonderful coming back home to him each day. I will always stay here.
Negative: I loved everything about it.
