This lodge is located on the upper Little Missouri River about 15 minutes south of where it pours into lake Greeson. We are about 15 minutes from Albert Pike and the Ouachita national forest. Three separate sleeping quarters. 1 California king, 1 queen, one twin with trundle. Sleeps 6. Huge commercial kitchen. Huge shower wet room. Summary: We decided to surprise our son with a trip to Arkansas to visit the Crater of The Diamonds and it did not disappoint. The location of the property is about 30 minutes away and it was a beautiful drive in and out. The house did not disappoint either. It was a super cool place. The kids especially loved walking down to the lake to skip rocks. The host, Ryan, was quick to respond to any of our needs. We walked away saying it was one of our best trips and favorite stays. If/when we find ourselves back in the area we would definitely stay here again. The only change I would make would be adding an additional shower head in the AMAZING shower. Could have spent all of my time just sitting in there. Thanks for your hospitality.

Summary: I will admit when I walked in I saw a new tablet credit card reader attached to the old wooden counter, sodas in the nostalgic cooler and griddles to feed the masses. I had to text the owner and make sure we weren't opening up a store in the morning. His easy and timely response assured me we could stay buried under the warm covers or walk the glistening shoreline as it greeted the morning but the only service would be that which we alone require and execute. Boasting a well appointed chef's kitchen and the most comfortable king size bed I've ever slept in is what my kids describe as "the best place we've ever stayed" (at this point I'm still wondering if slim pickings affected a sound decision here). We arrived late in the dark of night welcomed only by the string lights outlining the old filling station façade. Inside was warm and tidy with timeless entertainment including working remnants of a once steady hand tied fly fishing service, and a very competitive Bimini ring toss posted near the kids trundles. I am sure I found the most joy through my children's eyes. The dogs will love it too. Ryan, the owner, is located close to the property and is excellent at entertaining questions and accommodations. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Summary: My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. This is a great place to stay from start to finish. If you want to grill or if you prefer to cook inside during your trip this place has it all. Clean, located in the mountains and walking distance to a beautiful river. Ryan was a great host. Ryan even went out of his way to add air to one of my tires after I had a small leak from a nail I picked up during the trip there. The crater of diamonds is only a 28 min drive from the cabin. This place is also pet friendly. I brought my lab along, she travels with me alot. I couldn't keep her out of the crystal clear water. I'm not sure who had a better time. Her or me. Great time and a great place to stay. Keep up the good work..
