Positive: It was clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed and perfectly sized for us.
Negative: The fireplace wasn’t working and even through we spent time communicating - email, text and phone - with staff, the issue was never resolved. We were told that the local maintenance person would be onsite to address the issue and that never happened and there was no follow-up from our contact. A fireplace was an important amenity and we understood if something couldn’t be fixed but lack of communication was really disappointing. It really would have been helpful to have a manual for guests to read that goes through simple check-in procedures and use of fireplace, etc. The use of AI for answering questions is a trend these days but isn’t always helpful when you need answers for something specific staying in a home.
Summary: Everything went well. Disappointed with staff communication and complete lack of follow-through.
