Summary: It's difficult to know how this hotel stay could have been any better. Lovely warm room, big bed, modern bathroom, restaurant excellent, service impeccable and great value!

Summary: This is our 2nd visit to the White Horse Inn and cannot praise enough. The room was spotless, lovely clean crisp white bedding, lovely white fluffy towels. Everything you could possibly need for an overnight stay. Unfortunately we didn’t eat there but maybe next time as I know the young man who we spoke to said they are trying to incorporate more food in the evenings. They already do a curry night and Fish and Chip night which seems very popular as the bar was quite busy on the Friday we stayed. Breakfast I must add is a delight, good portions, very nicely presented and obviously food sourced locally, there is a good choice of breakfast dishes which you choose from a form left in the room and leave at the bar with your order and time you wish to eat. We will certainly be back if only for the fabulous breakfast. Thank you hosts you are doing a great job.

Summary: We arrived at the hotel at 3pm to be greeted very warmly by the couple who run the hotel. We were shown to our room which was named Rose. It was quite quirky and the bed was huge, extremely comfortable. The room was very clean as was the bathroom with plenty of bathroom toiletries, bath robes and nice clean white towels. We were only there for one night and enjoyed our stay, visiting nearby Helmsley, and eating out at a nearby venue. I believe the couple who run the hotel are looking to try and bring the eating menu back into force gradually which I think will be a great asset to it. We had choices of breakfast and chose several items from a list of what we could pre book, we certainly wasn’t disappointed the breakfast was excellent, very well presented, lots of it and really nicely cooked. Our plates were clean, the offer of more toast etc was available as was hot drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you for your most welcoming hospitality.

Summary: A very pleasant 3 day stay here, the bedroom was beautifully decorated and fitted out tastefully. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast excellent both mornings. Owners are in the process of recruiting a chef in the hope of providing food in the evenings.
