Positive: We liked everything about the surrounding area and property, couldnt fault this,

Negative: I had a little slightly traumatic event on the first morning,, one of my dogs needed to go out at 0500, and i went into the "what I think is the garden" that we could use however the owners 3 jack russells came out and although my dog wasnt reactive, one jack russell decided to lunge a couple of times, the other 2 were just saying hello lol, so it could have been a disaster if anyones dog was reactive, not sure if that side of the garden needs to be sectioned off for any future visitors,, but it was all ok, but wasnt aware of a shared garden or anything. So only an observation not a criticism at all..

Summary: We had a lovely stay, got out and about for what we wanted to visit, would defo come back

Positive: Beautiful setting, close to Hadrian's wall and lots of fantastic sites close by car. The house is really clean and has everything you could need. Really lovely decor and looked after. The hot tub was an amazing treat and my children really loved the experience. We will be back :) Nicola made a real effort to say hi too which is lovely. X

Negative: I think the back fence and table had just been creosoted because the smell on Friday evening was very strong- we didn’t stay in the hot tub very long because of it ! The back garden area is shared.

Positive: Absolutely perfect for a quiet retreat in the countryside, the cottage is beautifully furnished to a high standard. It was clean and comfy, dog friendly, the hot tub was lovely and relaxing. There was everything we needed in the cottage and I would definitely recommend staying here!
