Whitetail on Laurel Creek offers a relaxing meadow and pond view surrounded by mountain vistas on 10 acres.
This quaint, pet friendly cabin will sleep four guests comfortably. Main level bedroom offers queen bed. Loft accessed by ladder offers queen platform bed. The greatroom offers gas log fireplace, Smart TV, efficiency kitchen and dining table.
Picnic beside pond on the property. Quaintly situated on 10 acres with large pond, firepit and 2 similar log cabins. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway making it great for cycling, motorcycles or hiking the Mountain to Sea trail.
Efficiency style kitchen includes full size refrigerator, build in cook top, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookware and dishes. The bathroom is fully stocked with fresh linens and a hairdryer. The cabin is air conditioned with ceiling fans and cathedral ceilings, heat, gas log fireplace keeps the cabin warm and cozy on chilly nights. The living room includes Smart TV for streaming and WIFI.

Summary: The only recommendations would be fix the driveway at this cabin. There is a large gulley where you turn in a small car might have trouble getting over. Also the frying pans need to be replaced. Other than that we were very happy with our stay.

Summary: The cabin was cozy and perfect for our week of vacation in the mountains. The facilities were all very nice and were the same as the online photos. The one difference between the online photos and our cabin was the TV. The TV was much nicer than the on line photos w SATELITTE service. WiFi was great. Overall great stay and would stay again.

Summary: I came for Merlefest but waited too late to secure a place closer! The drive back and forth was about 35 minutes and very relaxing. The cabin, one of three, is on gorgeous property and is very clean and well maintained! It everything I needed for my stay! Thank you 😊

Summary: We stayed at Whitetail during the snowstorm 15JAN-17JAN. The cabin was of high quality, given the low nightly rate. Very warm, decently stocked for the basics, solid cleanliness. As the listing says, there are 2 other cabins on the property. The location is in the mountains, so there are certain things to be expected, like a couple bugs or a little dust. Stock up before your arrival, as the nearest grocery store is a bit of a drive, as noted in the listing. Directv was nice, full size coffee pot, toaster oven, microwave. This location exceeded my expectations. Was perfect for us and our 8 year old to enjoy the snow. Bring a hard bottom tube, and the hill on the property is a blast for sledding. Great weekend, easy check-in. Not a single complaint. READ THE LISTING!! They are very transparent about what to expect at this rental. Thanks for having us.

Summary: We were very happy to find this place on VRBO and it was just what we were looking for in a get away. W. Jefferson is the closest bigger town, and it was lovely to visit. Wanted to visit Freeborns for a meal, but they were closed b/c of the holiday. Hope to be able to come back. The property managers were/are very responsive and any issues/questions we had were answered immediately.
