Many well-known restaurants, grocery stores, Chinese super markets, drug stores, libraries, movie theaters and gyms are in walking distance. Very convenient for travelers. The house is right by the Maryvale park and backyard is surrounded by the park trees. 7 feet fenced yard gives you a lot of privacy. Plenty of parking space, in the driveway (3 car spaces) or the street in front of the house.
Wi-Fi, TV, washer, dryer, kitchen appliances and other items of everyday use are available and are in excellent condition. This is a no smoking/no partying zone.

Summary: I booked the home online in January and was informed in April that the property I booked was not available. (Due to a formal renter destroying it) I was very skeptical about switching homes but was assured it was a "nicer home." We agreed to take it. The week before my husband and sons left we find out it's a duplex. I called Jane and she did everything to rectify the situation and make us feel better. Overall, the guys trip I planned for them went off without a hitch and the duplex was in a nice quiet neighborhood that was convenient to everything. Jane is an excellent host, and we most definitely will book with her again if we are in the area.

Summary: Myself and a few friends decided to rent this bnb for a week to attend a nearby convention. From the second we arrived we knew we made the right decision in renting, the house was well kept and very comfortable! The house is close by to town and the local metro station. Jane was great and helped us a lot when we first came in whenever we needed! I would totally recommend this property for anyone wanting to see the DC area but want the quiet feel of a suburb!

Summary: The accommodations more than met my expectations, the location was cozy, the house was comfortable, the decor was warm and inviting. Everything was definitely what we needed after a very long drive. Touring around in our nation's capital and visiting The National Monuments left us worn out daily and we felt at home there. We also spent time with beloved family members and friends in the area. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Summary: The only issue I have is Jane (the owner) didn't tell how great it was going to be LOL!! Had she done a better job of selling it's advantages I wouldn't have wasted time looking at other properties. The house was perfect. We needed 3 bedrooms for our group. No where else could we find something in this price range with that much room. The location was awesome. The Metro station was about a 10 minute walk and if you drive the parking was never full. Even us hicks from Arkansas figured it out real quick. The train takes you to all the DC sites with many different stops and Union Station (google it) is a tourist attraction itself with Lots of shops & eating places. It was a busy neighborhood but you are in the I95 corridor which is the most populated corridor in the U.S. Rockville is awesome. We never had any safety concerns. Families all around us. Plenty of shopping, grocery stores, restaurants & movie theater ... All really convenient. Days in DC never end ... You never run out of things to see ... You just run out of time & energy. We walked 12 miles one day so we weren't interested in a long meal experience after a long day. We had pizza delivered one night (we did have 2 grandkids with us). We also baked a cake, cookies, ate cereal for breakfast and had chicken spaghetti one night. The house had stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave & washer / dryer (which allows you to pack lightly). It snowed one day and DC shut down because of ice / snow. We stayed at the house and rested, watched TV & went to a movie downtown. Jane (the owner) called to check on us and said if we needed anything to let her know. Jane was so nice and let us check out later because nobody had the house rented the day we were leaving. This allowed us to get another day in DC since we list the snow day. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. We loved it and recommend it to anyone visiting DC. THANK YOU JANE..... YOU'RE AWESOME. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
