Positive: Very scenic just like forest view and got to see the wild animals from my room balcony and the best thing it was hardly 1 km from the main market. Family was very welcoming and friendly gave us good tips and advice about how to go about the locality.

Negative: Everything was good nothing to complain about.

Positive: George and his family have a very special Homestay surrounded by beautiful nature on the edge Periyar tiger reserve. The Homestay was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the very relaxed setting and atmosphere. George was very generous with his time and was able to help us make booking, suggest where to eat and places to visit. We had the pleasure of seeking deer, different types of monkeys, wild boars, and the bird songs was lovely.

Positive: It was close to the reserve and we could see a couple of animals like monkeys and deers. At the end we were very kindly offered some jackfruit and it was tasty 😁

Negative: No toilet paper available. We had to pay 1 euro per roll for it. There were not enough towels for everybody also. It's 15 min walking from the centre.
