After a day of adventures in Canaan Valley, relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace πŸ”₯ or take a dip in the private hot tub while enjoying beautiful views of the woods and wildlife off the large back deck. This one-level home sits on 2 acres and is perfect for multi-generational gatherings.
Kitchen, Living Room, and Dining Room
The fully updated and outfitted kitchen includes everything to cook your own gourmet meals 🍝 or head out to one of Canaan's great restaurants. All appliances are updated including a gas stove top and Bosch ultra quiet dishwasher. The open floor plan with vaulted ceilings includes a large kitchen fully open to the dining and living rooms. The large dining table seats 8 with room at the counter for additional people.
Den/4th Bedroom
Off the living room is a den/family room with its own wood stove πŸ”₯, TV πŸ“Ί, a set of twin bunk beds, a queen size sleeper sofa, and an attached half-bathroom 🚽. This is a great space for teens or a family to stay as it has a door creating a private separate bedroom. There are plenty of games and puzzles for guests to enjoy.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
On the opposite side of the house are 3 additional bedrooms.
Primary Bedroom & Bathroom: Queen bed πŸ›, sliding glass door overlooking the woods 🌲, access to the hot tub, and adjoining bathroom with double sinks and large shower with rain shower head 🚿.
Bedroom 2: Queen bed πŸ› and closet and views overlooking the front of the house.
Bedroom 3: Twin bunks, a separate twin bed, and a twin trundle bed.
Hall bathroom : Sink, toilet 🚽, and shower (no tub).
Washer/Dryer 🧺: A full-size stacked washer and dryer are available in the hall closet.
Outdoor Space
Enjoy the back deck in any weather with a hot tub 🩱, dining table for 8, Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill in the driveway. Roast marshmallows in the large fire pit πŸ”₯. Watch deer roam through the yard.
Gated Neighborhood
We are located in the mountainside portion of the gated Old Timberline neighborhood, just 1.5 miles from Timberline Mountain ski area β›·and 1 mile to the HOA’s private Dolly Sods Wilderness area πŸ₯Ύ access.
Basic Rules
No smoking on the property include outside areas. No pets of any size or type. Primary guest must be 25 years old or older and must be on the premises whenever the home occupied. Violations will be charged at $750 per incident.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Wildest Dreams cabin. The cabin is roomy, nicely decorated and was spotless. The location was good for us and very peaceful. The hot tub felt wonderful after long days spent hiking. The Wifi was fast and worked well. Communication with the hosts was easy and they provided lots of information about the area. I can't wait to return to Wildest Dreams!

Summary: This home is an excellent base for exploring Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley areas. The house has a wonderful hot tub in a private, beautiful wooded setting. Inside was a wood burning fireplace that we used often for relaxing evenings after a day of hiking. Owner(s) were very responsive and check in/check out was a breeze. We would definitely stay in this home again if we are ever in the area.

Summary: This was an amazing experience! The property is beautiful. We had such a memorable time on the slopes but really relaxing at the house was highlight of our week. The surroundings and perfect snowy weather really was remarkable. No shortage of firewood either. I hope we didn’t overuse our portion! The owners were fantastic also. It would be hard to stay anywhere else after this.
