Positive: Very clean, very well stocked kitchen, lovely place, we really enjoyed our stay. We had an issue when we first arrived, and our host was quick to respond and solved the issue right away. Nice to see games available. FYI the loft is suitable for kids, or a limber, athletic adult. 😁

Positive: The house is very well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for 2 couples. We didn't plan to cook but when we saw the kitchen we wished we had! Instead, we got takeaway from the Tokeland Hotel...delicious! Awesome dining table for playing games.
Negative: Not a big deal at all, but we couldn't find the remotes for the ceiling fans nor how to turn on the fireplace. Didn't detract from our stay.
Summary: Enjoyed our quick trip to the Washington Coast. Would stay at Willapa Bay House again!

Positive: The house was really beautifully remodeled we kept saying over and over what a great house it was. The house was very well stocked with everything that you would need. everything in the kitchen, games, towels. blankets it was awesome

Positive: I loved the fact that it is close to the water, and they did provide plenty of games and bikes for the children to use.
Negative: There is no driveway. I was lucky and brought my SUV and parked on the grass. In the middle of the rainy season, any standard sedan would likely get stuck in the grass. There is no drapes covering the window in the kitchen. The kitchen overlooks the campground that is adjacent to the property. This gave both my wife and myself a sense of worry since anyone walking their dogs early in the morning could look directly inside. The house looked like it was rented to a party beforehand. There was a lot of alcohol, old food, and some of it had rotted out in the refrigerator. There was a massive hole in the floor in one of the bedrooms. We had to close it off to make sure the children didn’t find it to go under the house. We won’t be renting this property again.
