Summary: Booked a 3 night getaway. Beautiful location with lots to do. Staff were very friendly and professional, especially Heather at the breakfast buffet. So friendly and represented the hotel very well. No complaints and would highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back!

Summary: Enjoyed our stay after a rocky start at check-in. Unfortunately during a very heavy rainstorm there was no covered area to unload bags at the lobby entrance..we got soaked. The walk was difficult to navigate with an uneven surface. Otherwise the facility is beautiful, staff great, view amazing. The breakfast is also excellent! Thanks for a lovely stay ..

Summary: Windermere House is a beautiful and peaceful retreat, perfectly situated close to the water, offering a relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The amenities are a definite highlight — the pool, hot tub, and sauna make it easy to unwind and enjoy your stay in comfort. The location is quiet and serene, making it ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer escape. I especially appreciated how easy it was to enjoy the natural surroundings while still having access to great facilities. That said, there’s room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness. The bathroom wasn’t as spotless as I would have expected from such an otherwise well-maintained and upscale property. A little more attention to detail in housekeeping would really elevate the overall experience. Overall, Windermere House has a lot to offer and I would definitely consider staying again — especially if the cleaning standards are brought up to match the quality of the rest of the property.
