This home is a super immaculate, upscale, classic ski chalet nestled on 1 wooded acre. This home has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths and comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. Den & 3 bedrooms downstairs, complete with new down comforters. 1 bedroom with a full size bed, 1 with 2 twin beds, 1 with 2 bunk beds & a full bath downstairs. Master bedroom is upstairs, with alcove area that would be great for a crib. It has cathedral ceilings, large windows with mountain views in winter. Posh hotel towels, new down comforters, walk in closet & a master bath attached. The bathroom is also accessible from living room. There are 2 entrances. Main entrance takes you upstairs to living room. Entrance on the ground level opens to a brick floor mud room for ski equipment & coats. There is also a laundry area with a brand new washer and dryer. This leads to a family room with which has a surround sound system with DVD and VCR and TV with cable service & Internet access included.
Amenities: Upstairs is a beautiful open floor plan, with high cathedral ceilings & modern ceiling fan, floor to ceiling windows & gorgeous wood floors in the living room & dining room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, ceramic tiles & is fully furnished with all the tools needed to entertain. The living room has a gorgeous floor to ceiling fireplace and it is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows on three sides of the house. There are beautiful mountain views in the winter, from these living room windows. There is also a surround sound system with DVD in the living room as well as a new Sony TV with cable service included, Wireless internet service included. Glass sliding doors to wrap around deck with built-in seating, Weber gas grill, patio set & natural setting.
Master bedroom & bathroom located on same floor as living room.
Activities: The house is located approximately two miles from town, boasting 2 beautiful golf courses, and many excellent restaurants.
Spring, Summer & Fall activities include mountain biking, horseback riding, swimming, tubing, canoeing, fishing, and hiking trails. Summer and Fall cultural festivals, concerts, art galleries, antiques, fall foliage displays, apple picking and fine theatre round out the season activities in Windham, or just sit on the deck and relax! Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding & snowmobiling at area facilities.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed this home over a long fall weekend. The home is immaculate with plenty of space/bathrooms for my 3 adult kids and my husband and I. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. Plenty of paper products, soaps, basic spices. I appreciated how clean it was. Communication with the host was great, very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Beautiful area for long hikes and to enjoy everything Windham has to offer. Would stay again.

Summary: We are a big family with 4 kids between 6 and 17 year old. The house is the perfect size for us! It's very clean and the linens are very comfortable. The location is so convenient! Less than 10 min drive to Windham ski resort. Peter is very responsive and accommodating! We had a great time!

Summary: Very clean, stylish and retro chalet was a pleasure to stay in. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of places to sleep for our crew of 8 adults, though some slept on bunks (very comfy ones though!) You could see two neighbors from the house, but it was nice and tucked away and felt private. Owners were communicative and pleasant to work with. Great location with proximity to food shopping and outdoor activities. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: This house was more than we could of asked for. So clean- basically didn’t have to bring anything but food & drinks. The property was perfect. Overall made our trip 10 times better. Definitely will be renting again. Peter was also a pleasure renting from. So accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

Summary: The description of this chalet by the owner is very accurate. It was super clean, which is super important to me! The tile, the wood floors, the carpets, while a bit dated, were all very clean, as was the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The layout worked very well for our adult family of 5. Amenities were as stated. The owner answered my pre-questions in a timely and accurate fashion. We enjoyed the little town of Windham and spent time driving around the beautiful scenic area. While we cooked all of our meals at the house, the town looked like it boasted some very inviting restaurants.

Summary: This smartly appointed house tucked away on a Windham hillside is a great place to relax with all the amenities. It has a great two level layout for couples with children. Even grandparents can come along for the weekend since there are first floor bedrooms and a full bath. The spacious balcony that wraps half of the second floor has a grill available for use, as well as family sized indoor and outdoor dinning areas. Since the kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and large refrigerator, you can easily save on meals out. The first floor den has a television where the kids can watch their shows in the evening. The second floor, with master bedroom and full bath has a cozy livingroom/Kitchen/Dinning area surrounded by floor to ceiling windows complete with a fireplace. We love coming to the house in the summer to hike the Catskills and visit the artsy little towns like Hunter and Tannersville. The owner and his family are more than gracious in sharing their Catskill retreat.

Summary: house is set up perfectly for a group of friends or family. There is a downstairs section with 3 bedrooms and a living area with television and a bathroom. The upstairs has a 2nd bathroom and the roomier living room with tv & fireplace with deck access. Also a very nice master bedroom upstairs. Kitchen is perfect with everything you need.
