Positive: The view was incredible. It was lovely to sit on the bench overlooking the farms and dam below while enjoying the sunset. The fireplace made it so nice and cozy, and the hot water bottles were an added bonus as it was freezing during the evening. The cottage was well kitted out with everything one would need. Our cottage had a good amount of privacy as well as we were at the end of the line. We were relieved not to have one of the others as the cottages are quite close together. The water was also nice and hot for our evening shower and bathroom well stocked with amenities and towels. It was also nice to be able to take a walk around the property and experience all the different views.
Negative: The only downside was the fact that the bedroom was the only window in the entire place that did not have blinds/block out features, and there was an extremely bright spotlight that was shining into our room the entire night. Even with the curtains drawn, it did not help, so for people who like a room to be 100% dark, we struggled to stay asleep. The bed was quite hard but we didn't mind it. The little shop was a bit disappointing. Don't bargain on being able to buy too many essentials if you still need any items. The spatula in our kitchen drawer had broken silicone/rubber on it, which I don't consider very safe or hygienic.
Summary: Lovely views, lovely vibe

Positive: Location, coziness, everything we needed except matches
Negative: The ladies on site were not sure they were expecting us. Did not know which accommodation was ours, and seemed to have no logical way to contact the owner. May have been because we upgraded to a cottage with an extra bed and fireplace, via booking.com, a few days before our arrival. They were welcoming but afraid of the consequences if they did something wrong.
Summary: We had a very good stay, have been regular customers through the years and hope to come again.

Positive: We loved the scenery and the peace and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Stove spotless and working well. Also fridge and microwave Good towels. Good reception on TV and WiFi. Nice coffee shop and dining close by. Sithi exceptionally helpful, smiling and cheerful and hard working.
Negative: No one at reception and no bell to ring. Could do with a few more cushions around. Curtain rails need replacing. Bowls and dishes needed for cooking should be provided , and better pans needed. The Information folder is out of date, including wrong password for WiFi.
Summary: A lovely retreat.
