2 Bedroom House in Burnside

Our fifth house we chose to add to Lake Vista Properties. We chose this house for its unique A-frame style and the wall to wall glass that makes up the back of the house. The view of Lake Cumberland is amazing at certain times of the year. Therefore, we named the property Window Lake.
The majority of the home is lined in cedar. The main level holds a full size bathroom with a washer and dryer, a bedroom with a queen size bed, kitchen, and living area that also has plenty of extra room for a blow up mattress that is provided.. Deck access is off the living area. A set of stairs takes you to the loft that holds a king bed and has access to a small Juliet deck that faces the front of the property.
Window Lake sits on an acre and a half and plenty of room to enjoy the outside with play. A fire pit area is located in the perfect spot to be able to enjoy the lake view at dusk. Parking space is available on the driveway which has been recently modified to accommodate a boat and trailer, there is also a covered shelter to park underneath.

Summary: The Area where the house is located is a very scary, not a nice neighborhood at all, I carry my gun all the time going to the house and when leave the house, is vey sketchy area.

Summary: 4 adults and 2 5 year olds fit very comfortably in this rental! Stocked very well in the kitchen and bathroom towels. The only complaint I had was how small the shower was 😂 as a 5’8 female I was having to bend in half to wash my hair but it wouldn’t Deter us from staying again!

Summary: It was a nice Clean little cabin/house. It appears there has been a lacking in upkeep. Some minor inside issues, like broken handles, missing utensils from the knife block, could use more small end tables in bedrooms, etc... Outside needs stained, sealed, or repair. Deck pics are SO different than actual. Possibly could use a better access to the water. All-in-all, a good vacay (quiet, relaxing, Clean) , but has potential of being much more.

Summary: My husband I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate Valentines Weekend. The place was clean, well stocked, and exactly what we were looking for. The lake view was beautiful. Only negative thing I can say is the area getting to the cabin is very run down. I know that is not the owners fault and nobody bothered us. We had a great time.

Summary: The property was mostly clean, there was a little bit of trash on the deck and inside the house. The area it’s in was a bit sketchy seeming but didn’t have any issues. The listing images show a propane grill so we were disappointed to only see a campground charcoal grill. I’d rate the experience a 9/10. Thanks for having us!
