This custom built 4000 sq foot waterfront log home is situated on spring fed, crystal clear and quiet Windy lake.
This property offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one of which is a steam shower . 2 kitchens, 2 wood-burning fireplaces and all the amenities you need. It also includes a pull out sofa and a double bed in a loft area .
The property also has a screen room at the water to escape the bugs . This screen room has a fridge and furniture to relax on, with a deck over the lake.
The Cartier Moose ski do trail trail goes just past the front of the house. Onaping Nordic cross country ski trail is less than 1/2 km away. You can walk to the Onaping beach and golf club.
The house is located in a private bay with a sandy beach. Windy Lake Provincial Park is also 1/2 km away.
This private log home is a great getaway all season home.
Summer activities include, fishing, swimming, boating, paddle boating, kayaking, stargazing in the outdoor hot tub and much, much more.
Winter activities include, ice fishing with a hut provided, ski doing, snow-shoeing, cross country skiing and stargazing in the outdoor hot tub.

Summary: Windy Lake Year-Round property is a wonderful property. The home is gorgeous and the property is beautiful. Our group of 6 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Each couple was able to stay in bedrooms on a different levels and share the terrific amenities. The steam shower and hot tub were great. Communication with Lynn was great, and they were excellent hosts! Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Lynn has everything you need and definitely went above and beyond to make her beautiful space feel cozy. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and relaxing in the hot tub afterwards. We also really appreciated that the firewood was provided. The kitchen has everything you need and we felt right at home. We hope to visit again in the future!

Summary: We had a wonderful week at this home on beautiful Windy Lake. We enjoyed lounging in the lake, taking kayak, paddleboard, and pedal boat rides. It was extremely peaceful, and even on rainy days we had plenty to do!!!

Summary: We were a group of 10 high school friend there for a small reunion. Everything you need to have a good time was there, beds are super comfortable and we spent a lot of time outside playing games that were available and sitting in the sun!

Summary: Lynn was an excellent host. The property is amazing and exactly as described. Having 3 floors ensured that everyone could have a getaway space of their own when wanted, but at the same time large rooms to gather all together. The fire places were great gathering areas. The steam shower turned out to be everyone’s favorite spot, what a treat after being outside to come into that, wow!!!!!

Summary: This cottage is beautiful, with hand cut wood and reclaimed brick you get a luxurious cottage in the woods feel. There are many different living spaces inside and outside. Every level of deck has furniture to lounge at with several areas you can eat outside at, and a large lawn area is available for games. Inside both the basement and main level have a kitchen and living spaces with lots of comfy seating, and wood burning fireplaces. Lynn has firewood stocked nearby each fireplace, the outdoor fire pit, and next to the front of the cottage so you can keep a cozy fire going. The loft is open space with a large window facing the lake, and a large sitting area with couches. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are in the loft and a bed in the open space. You can relax in the jacuzzi tub, the large steam shower, or the hot tub which is on a higher level of deck close to the cottage where you can overlook the lake and forest surround. Bathroom and bedroom towels and linens are stocked, and there are enough beds and bathrooms for everyone to have a comfortable space. Lynn is very responsive and available to answer your questions, and super friendly and easy to talk to. The area is very peaceful and you feel in a private piece of nature where you can escape. We had no problems here, and all the comforts we needed. Paddle boards, paddle boats, kayaks and life jackets are available as well as several lawn games. There is a large shallow cove off The property before the main body of the lake which is great for privacy and would be a great area to skate on in the winter. You will see beautiful sunrises over the lake, and the deck is perfect to use a telescope to view the night sky. The front door has a padlock with a code, and once you descend the driveway you can park at the front of the cottage or at a parking pad 100 metres before the front door. We all loved it, and would love to return to this large but cozy escape.

Summary: Excellent. Great property for children and parents. Variety of watercraft, shallow entrance to water, lovely waterfront, spacious home with lots of exterior decking, tables and chairs.. Owners are lovely people - very accommodating, friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them and stay at their property.

Summary: Upon seeing this ad, this was the first place we’ve ever been to that the stay was actually better then the pictures and description. So much to do from hot tubbing and kayaking to just simply looking at the beautiful view with a coffee. It was raining a lot of the time that we stayed but we still had so much fun because there was enough room inside to each do whatever we want - games, tv, read, cook etc. Fully stocked with necessities in the kitchens and bathrooms. The wonderful hosts were so quick to attend to our needs if we had questions or just simply noticing we had a little guy with us that could use beach toys. We would love to stay again!
