Summary: The week in Longfuyes has been delicious. The property cleanliness and check in process has room for improvement but it more than compensated by the location , the swimming pool, and the responsiveness of the hosts.

Summary: We had a great week staying here, all 19 of us! The house has so much character. The kids loved the pool and there was plenty of space for them to run around and have fun without worrying about the neighbours. the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of crockery and cutlery and two dishwashers was a bonus with so many mouths to feed. I have already recommended it to others who want to get away with friends or family.

Summary: Lovely location and great facilities for families. Outdoor space was amazing with a good sized pool and outdoor seating. The interior was very characterful. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

Summary: I cannot review this property, which we had been looking forward to staying in for months, as I received an email 3 days prior to our stay to inform us that it was uninhabitable due to urgent repairs. I do not know whether these could have been foreseen or prevented. As a positive, the owner had arranged for us to stay in a property half an hour away, with a few freebies (towels, pool heating, cleaning) as compensation. However, while the property nominally had the same number of rooms and beds, it was much less suitable in its layout for our families with small children, and we ended up swapping beds/rooms and compromising in terms of room allocation. The property we stayed in (Beauregard) was in need of a good deep clean and had several items in need of repair (shower heads, chairs, unattached toilet bowl, window pain patched up...). I gave a three because I hope the property at Longuefuye is nicer, because the area is absolutely gorgeous, and because the original owner had made arrangements for alternative accommodation.

Summary: We held our annual family reunion in this house - it was simply magical! The owner of this property also rented out other nearby gites to supply our demands which made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Everyone had their own quarters but we were close enough to have lunch together every day. Each year we like to find a new spot - but we may change our mind after staying here!
