Negative: The list of potential fines for damage to the property was provided after final payment, i.e. once cancellation not possible. It would be good to have this provided at the time of booking to be upfront.

Positive: This place is a hidden gem 💎 Winnie Cottage was the most perfect place for our trip for my sons 13th birthday. There is literally everything you could possibly want. Everything at the cottage was to a high standard. Even the kitchen was equipped with everything you would possibly need. My boys loved the welcome hamper it was a beautiful touch. Mark was so helpful in making suggestions on where to hide my sons bike for his birthday present. Nothing was a problem when I called before the weekend, and during our stay. The bedding and the towels smelt beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. Having two boys with us, they were entertained playing pool in the games room. The hot tub was amazing and very well looked after. Sitting out in the hot tub, even on a cold February weekend, was bliss. The views are stunning. The weather wasn't on our side this weekend to make use of the golf or chess area or use the firepit. However, there has been so much thought put into the entire property. No one would be disappointed staying here. We've stayed at some beautiful places before, but this property has exceeded every other property we've ever stayed in. We will definitely be booking back up to stay in the summer months as we are dien to go back and use the amazing outside kitchen. But really, to go back and make more amazing memories. This property is definitely one, Everyone needs to visit. Family and friends that's seen photos from when we stayed has said the same it's truly beautiful place. My sister and her partner, my husband, 2 boys and myself had the most amazing weekend making memories here, witch will be the first of many trips. We are already working out when will work for us coming in the summer, even talked about making it a yearly thing 🥰

Positive: There was plenty to do but everything was run down.
Negative: It wasn’t clean there was dirty dishes in the oven so had to do a cycle in the dishwasher when arrived Stains on some pillows. Pool table broken could play but needed replaced of r fixed. Lights were a nightmare. Showers pressure was bad. There was a hole in the trampoline that they had put tape over but kids couldn’t use it. The lights outside didn’t work and the shower or sauna outside didn’t work.

Positive: Excellent location and a very well presented property with lots of amenities and a great welcome hamper that wasn’t ordered but still provided! Generally a great stay!
Negative: Main suite had a water bed which wasn’t described and wasn’t great! The coffee machine didn’t work and was a completely different machine to the one described in the manual? The sauna didn’t work. The CD players didn’t work. The bottle racks on both fridge doors were broken and not useable? The lights in the lounge were on a passive but only stayed on for around 3mins then switched off resulting in people dancing around all evening to keep the lights on! Home control a great idea but not very well managed. Main microwave on the kitchen did not work. All these are minor items but when only staying for 2 nights were not worth moaning about! However, this is intended as information -not a complaint !
Summary: Excellent stay anc thoroughly enjoyed it, a great location!
