Positive: This historic inn is a beautiful building hidden back in the Catskill mountains. The meals are included, and everything served was absolutely delicious.
Negative: The indoor pool was closed for renovations, however, soon it will open and should be a nice place to hang out and relax.

Positive: The meals were very nice and plentiful, but served early and there is no way to get snacks or keep food in your room for a meal after the 6:00 dinner if you are prone to eating later in the evening. There is an excellent German Brauhaus just minutes away, tho!
Negative: The whole house and individual bed rooms are decorated in quite an antiquated, rather worn out fashion. Things were neat and tidy, but it felt as tho we were staying at someone's grandmother's farmhouse.
Summary: Relaxing place, with extensive, beautifully groomed grounds for hiking in the Catskills.

Negative: That after asking for a room where I didn't need to climb stairs, they didn't have one available, although I had gotten a confirmation from Booking.com that they would be able to accommodate my request.
Summary: Nice, quaint, no tv which was a blessing!

Positive: Rooms were clean staff was polite. Inn was quiet at night. Grounds are well maintained and pool is in good condition. Many nice hikes availible.
Negative: Hotel did not have a reservation for us when I arrived and was unaware we were coming. I provided booking.com confirmation number and luckily they still had a room available. There was no television in the room. The website says your price includes breakfast lunch and dinner but we were told we could only have breakfast.

Positive: The outside area was great,the food was good our waitress was great. Meals were well organized. Lot to do outside
Negative: Both beds were very noisy due to broken base mattresses. The bath tub would not hold water due to the water stop broken or disconnected. Could use a little more cleaning. The indoor pool was in rubble a major construction problem.
