Summary: If you enjoy nature and also a comfortable beautiful cabin with amazing views, come for a stay. The cabin is built into the side of a hill near the top, and you can see the St. Croix river basin and the river itself just to the east. There is a walk-out to a patio and firepit area. Everything in the cabin and on the grounds is extremely well maintained. Great trails that are marked and mapped, too. We had a chance to talk with John, one of the owners, and enjoyed our conversation. He really cares about this property, and it shows -- he's doing a great job. When we arrived, the lights were on in the yard and near the door. Very welcoming! Will be back again.

Summary: This is the third time we’ve stayed here for our anniversary. The cabin always has everything we need for cooking breakfast and dinner. We also enjoy that they have the grill there for our use. We appreciate that they allow dogs. We have a pair of Goldens that love to run free. I think that they enjoyed hiking the trails more than we did.
