Summary: Value for money. Excellent hotel. I wish the check-in & checkout times were flexible like 4pm to 12noon and have some breakfast option.

Summary: The room was pretty average. Toilet was super low and shower was dated. Kitchen was stocked. I was really disappointed that our jacuzzi did NOT have a fireplace like all the photos showed. Staff was good but one was just overly talkative. Also disappointed that late check out was only 30 mins later.

Summary: The room was spacious...fireplace was nice. Good view and a nice balcony. The staff was friendly. Housekeeping was happy, one even said he loved his job and you could tell. The cookies at 4pm were a kind gesture. The pool was great and we hope to return soon.

Summary: Parking was easy and secure. Seven miles to shopping /dining. TERRIBLE water pressure in the shower.

Summary: The stay here was great! We will be back. We had the 1 bedroom suite for our family of 4 and it worked out perfect for us. It had a kitchen and everything you needed to cook with and dishes plus towels for both pool and bath. They thought of everything! We Just brought our own food to cook and drinks as they do not offer any at this resort. You need to drive out to buy food and only few places will deliver. The surrounding areas are beautiful lands of farms, peaceful and quiet and a cute little town in Galena that you can walk around with lots of boutique shops and some restaurants. Everything closes down by 5pm for the most part there, except maybe the restaurants. We were very impressed with the landscape of the whole area and outdoor activities. The resort was kept very clean and it was not so crowded so we had the use of the pool and game room almost to ourselves most of the time. Staff and even guests were very friendly. The only thing was their issue with lady bugs. Apparently it's an issue they have during this season. So we saw them throughout the resort and a few in our room but it wasn't that bad and they are harmless. Definately stay here if you want to enjoy the outdoors or need a quiet and relaxing vacation.

Summary: Stayed at WorldMark Galena from February 6-8, 2026, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful wooded view right from our suite. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. A special shout-out to Mike at the front desk, whose friendliness and local knowledge were exceptional. He was always ready to help and offered fantastic recommendations that made our trip even better. For a relaxing, hassle-free stay with excellent service, this resort is hard to beat. Highly recommended

Summary: Second stay and it was a pelasure. Not a bad drive to skiing at Chestnut. Love having the fireplace and kitchen available.
