Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was just big enough for three adults. It was not clear to me in the listing that there are two bedrooms upstairs. The third one with the day bed is on the main floor. One full bathroom on each floor. Being in the mountains, the Wi-Fi was very slow. It was a 25-30 drive to downtown Golden.

Summary: This was our second time staying at Crissy’s house. It’s perfect for us! So peaceful and serene. We love this property and will be back again hopefully in the summer.

Summary: This house was perfect! I'm so glad we went with this property after looking at so many others online. The location was perfect as well! We love the Golden area. Planning on moving there within the next year or two and have decided on the Golden area.We saw a large brown bear in the woods behind the house/deck about 40 yards back. Then a few days later my son and his girlfriend saw a brown bear cub in the driveway. Crissy (owner) sent us the video of the bear cub from her Ring camera. So COOL!! We saw many chipmunks, birds, woodpeckers. Maybe next time we'll see a moose.Thank you Crissy for allowing us to have a late check out so we could enjoy even more time on the deck with the serenity before we flew back home that evening and back to reality! Crissy was a great host!We will be back!!

Summary: Our stay was amazing, no mice like some reviews, contacted me to let me know we could check in early that day(which worked out great for us),driveway is steep we had a 15 passenger van and did just fine in august however with th curve of the drive 4 wheel would be needed in winter months, plenty of natural light and a stream running by the house 10/10 would stay again

Summary: This house was a perfect distance from my daughter who lives down the canyon and from Eldora ski area. It was comfortable for me, my other daughter, and her boyfriend. It was a little funky in that some of the kitchen appliances could've used a little updating but they worked fine. Pots and pans were well stocked. There was a bit of a problem with the temperature in the house. We didn't seem to have any control over the thermostat and we found it be a little chilly during the day and then would be too warm at night. But there were a few electric heaters around which we used to advantage. The owner was right in that you will need AWD to get up the driveway. I would imagine this place might be a bit more fun in the non-winter months. It has a large sunroom which would be fun to hang out in and had toys, etc for children. The place also could have been a little more cleaner. Overall, it suited us fine and I would stay here again, perhaps in the summer.

Summary: Awesome. It was homey. Easy to relax in. Awesome sleeps and lovely bathrooms. Plenty of supplies and cooking area. Even nice walks in the snow (on the road!) We took some great family photos with the beautiful trees. It gave our family a great chance to relax and enjoy each other for a few days. Thank you!

Summary: Cabin was spacious and thoughtfully equipped with the little things one might need: snacks, breakfast items, sunscreen, water filter in fridge, and toiletries. We enjoyed the aesthetic though the sofa is starting to tire and wasn't as comfortable as it looked. Overall, would recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and doesn't mind a short off road drive to get there.
