Positive: What an awesome place to stay. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the bird life so cool, so many tuis & gannets, the stars amazing. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. So nice to be away from everything - no TV, no radio, no noise apart from birds & the occasional plane. We left so relaxed.
Negative: The property description is 100% accurate, very secluded, a magical spot but quite remote & definitely 4 wheel drive. If you don't like steep windy narrow metal roads, then this is not for you. It's a long way & we wondered if we would ever get there but the trip seemed shorter each time we did it - make sure you time it to get there in daylight the first time. Be sure to take food with you as the nearest shop is quite a long way away. Was very hot when we were there & a sun umbrella outside would have been great as it was just too hot to sit out in the full sun.
Summary: Absolutely breathtaking, remote but very relaxing.
