Positive: I've stayed in many a seaside B&B over the years, and don't have particularly high expectations beyond basic cleanliness, a bed to sleep in and a shower. However, as soon as I was greeted by the wonderful Jo (the owner) and was blown away by her charming personality, I knew I was about to stay somewhere a bit special. The single room was perfect, with a large window looking straight out over the bay and Marine Road below. Tea, coffee (real & instant) and hot chocolate were provided, as were a hand towel & bath towel plus soap & shower gel. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was beautifully made and comfortable. I literally couldn't have asked for anything more. Breakfast was outstanding, with much to choose from, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. However, it was Jo herself who made my stay a next-level experience. Polite, chatty, bubbly, very friendly and outgoing and nothing was too much trouble. Yacht Bay View was inconveniently placed for the event I was in Morecambe for (Corrosion Goth Festival at the Alhambra), which was entirely on me for not checking the distance, but I'm coming back next year and will 1000% be returning to Yacht Bay View. Far and away the best B&B I have stayed in.

Negative: I could find nothing negative to comment on during my 2-night stay. No noise, no broken facilities, everything was spotlessly clean and in good order. I literally have nothing to complain about.

Positive: I had a comfy and pleasant stay at Yacht Bay View and highly recommend the location, view and Jo's breakfast ! I had a nice single room and was close to Morecambe's town centre and station. A very good place to stay at.

Positive: The room was excellent very spacious with 2 comfy chairs to sit and overlook the sea view through the bay window, Good cooked breakfast plus cereal and toast freshly cooked. Landlady was very friendly and had a wealth of local knowledge about best places to go and eat.

Negative: Floorboards squeaked in bedroom, didnt bother us too much.

Summary: Great B&B and landlady, excellent location, view to die for.
