Positive: A superb location with great amenities. The chalet made for the perfect winter getaway that we would love to do again.
Negative: The family in the adjoining chalet 6B was incredibly noisy and this made for a difficult night's sleep at times.
Summary: A serene stay in one of the most beautiful parts of WA's southwest. We would definitely return.

Positive: All the chalets are secluded and surrounded by beautiful trees with possums and owls. You feel really secluded, but you’re like 10 min from dunsborough and a lot of family activities, caves, natural wonders and wineries etc. The insides of the building were clean and comfy with a nice little kitchen and enough cookware/plates/glasses etc and laundry facilities. The rooms are quite modern and clean and comfortable. I just loved sitting on the porch and staring at the trees.
Negative: The chalet could probably have better heating for winter (I think the bathroom was the worst) and there are only fans for summer. But there is a pool (we were there in winter so didn’t use it). The dirt roads have a few deep potholes, but I got used to avoiding them.

Positive: Perfect spot to unwind – surrounded by trees and wildlife, very peaceful but still close to everything. Lots of space and a great base for exploring Yallingup and surrounding areas.
Negative: Loved having a washing machine available, but it would be even better with access to a dryer (even in a shared central location), as it was difficult to get clothes dry on damp days under the verandah line.

Negative: Bbq area was not clean. I guess that is to be expected a little in winter as less use but hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time.
Summary: Very relaxing and quiet. Chalets lovely. Nice to see all the wildlife.

Positive: Beautuful peaceful Australian forest all around us. Visited by magpies, Kookaburras and kangaroos in the mornings and evenings. Paradise on earth!
Negative: Would have liked a log fire but the place was still kept cosy and warm by the heaters.

Positive: Wonderful location amongst the trees, very serene. It got cold at night quite quickly once the sun was down, however, there was a very good heater supplied. Beds were fine, good shower and hot water. Kitchen was well supplied but there was a lack of smaller pots. Only two very large ones. General ambiance was good but instructions for the TV would be helpful. Took me 10 mins one night to turn it off - finally had to use the wall switch. I realised after check out that I had lost an item of jewellery that was very personal to me. Because of the forest location I thought it was gone for good but I messaged them and very quickly received a reply that it was there and it was returned promptly to me. Excellent personal service.
Negative: Kitchen equipment needs checking and updating. OK but could be better.
Summary: Could have stayed longer.
