Positive: This was a very relaxing inn. We had an onsen in our room and were also invited to use one of the larger onsen in another part of the inn. We were able to use both without anyone asking or questing us about tattoos. The meals were served in a dining room setting with both buffet items and a multi-course presentation, for both dinner and breakfast. The food was complex and interesting, and they made very lovely vegetarian meals special for my husband which were equally complex and fancy. The tempura at dinner was particularly excellent, I wish I'd had more! The view from our room was all green treetops with a rushing stream below. It felt secluded and very peaceful.

Positive: Tanaba-san was exceptionally friendly and tried to assist and answer our questions. Facilities were also well maintained and cleaned. Shuttle bus service was great to bring us to Kaga onsen station.
Negative: We booked haldlf board. Were rather disappointed with the dinner as it added fusion/international elements. We were expecting traditional Japanese dinner.

Positive: I really enjoyed all of the activities the hotel had to offer ranging from happy hour, snack time and the drum performance. It’s really an all inclusive experience.
Negative: Although I explained my dietary needs. In the end things got lost in translation. I do appreciate the effort however.

Positive: Dinner including crab. superb! Different menu for 2 nights. nice food. Convenient shuttle bus. Just beside the river, at the entrance to river track walk. Beautiful view oversea the mountain and river side. Private onsen so refreshing.
