Positive: We had a nice stay at Yellow Birds. We arrived in the morning and were able to hang out there for a bit after a long journey on the bus. They also made sure to clean our room super quick after the previous guests checked out so we could even get some rest shortly after our arrival!! The room was cool and comfortable, a good base in hot Anuradhapura.

Negative: Not many restaurants around, but some were also closed due to the new year holiday.

Positive: The room was large and brightly coloured with a.comfortable bed and a welcoming host. I also managed to get my laundry washed for free.to which I was most appreciative.

Negative: Its a little bit of a bicycle ride to the sacred city but as the city is so large that is too be expected. Make sure you bring insect repellent but the mosquito net did work for me.
